The first speaker for the lecture series, Prof. Richard John Lynn, will talk about working with Late Imperial Chinese poetry and Japanese resources based on his book project on Huang Zunxian 黃遵憲 (1848-1905) in Japan (1877-1882) and his work, Riben zashi shi 日本雜事詩 (Poems about various things in Japan).
